The Gay Vegans

There are Plenty of People to Hate

Hate is a strong word. It’s a word I don’t use lightly.

I spend too much time watching news stories of legislators throughout the US attacking all types of people.

And time reading attacks against groups of people on social media.

Immigrants.

Trans people.

Liberals.

People of other races.

People of other religious beliefs, or with no religious beliefs.

Gay people.

Christians.

Vegans.

Drag queens.

In many cases the people being attacked are simply just different from those doing the attacking.

I have never understood why an individual can hate another individual, one they have never met, or why that same person spends so much time sharing their hatred while demonizing a person or group.

We can do so much better.

For those who relate with what I am saying and are not filled with hatred, we have the opportunity to speak out against the hate being spewn towards those who may be different to others.

Regardless of the difference.

We can show love and kindness to those being hated. We can speak out against hatred.

And we can vote against candidates who include hatred in their platform.

The tee shirt I’m wearing can be purchased from the Matthew Shepard Foundation: https://www.matthewshepard.org/

Go vegan. Vote. Be kind.
